Sue Benner
Composition Trilogy:
Three Techniques for Fused Quilts

Quilt
Each day is devoted to a different composition challenge: day one explores squares and rectangles with endless variation, day two experiments with curvilinear shapes, and day three deals with landscape. Using step-by-step directions, each student will make three quilts (about 16”x20”) using Sue’s fusible construction techniques. Along the way, we will cover the basics of fusing, managing non-traditional fabrics, fused block assembly, fused collage, alternative binding methods and machine quilting. By the end of this workshop, you will have three quilts, and countless other design and construction ideas.
